Recommendation is not enough. Machines need structured products, variants, prices, and a way to complete a purchase.
Beautiful storefront HTML is no longer a complete product. Machines have to understand the offer too.
For a long time, AI in shopping meant recommendations: similar items, better search ranking, generated copy. That is useful. It is not agentic commerce.
Agentic commerce is what happens when a system can do more than point at a URL. It needs to understand products, variants, availability, pricing, who the seller is, how shipping works, and whether checkout is actually possible. It needs structured offers, not a screenshot of a product card.
We think that is where shopping is going. We do not treat it as a prediction that has already happened. We treat it as a constraint on how we build Pixerr.
What is being sold, in language a machine can parse.
Size, color, and other options that change the SKU.
Whether it can be purchased now.
Amount and currency, not a picture of a price.
Who is offering it.
A real path to pay, not a “buy” button that is theater.
Public Pixerr products already have a stable URL, Schema.org Product markup, offers, and Open Graph metadata. That is not “AI shopping.” It is the substrate AI shopping needs. See why structured product data matters.
Open protocols such as Universal Commerce Protocol go further: they define how a business advertises checkout capabilities to a platform. Pixerr is not a UCP merchant endpoint today. We are building a single product source of truth so we can plug into protocols like that without asking creators to become integration engineers.
Create a product. Pixerr generates the listing infrastructure.
